WHAT TO EXPECT IN OUR FIRST SESSION
To reduce the "new situation" anxiety, here is exactly how our first session will look:
1. The Environment Check We start by making sure you are comfortable. Whether we are online or in-person in London, we’ll check the sensory environment (lighting, noise, seating). You don’t need to make eye contact, and you are welcome to use fidget tools or take movement breaks.
2. Mapping the "User Manual" We won't just talk about "problems." We will look at how your specific brain works. We’ll identify your "Spiky Profile"—where you excel and where the "friction points" (like task initiation or sensory overwhelm) are occurring in your daily life.
3. Setting the First "Anchor" We leave the session with one practical, low-energy "scaffold" to put in place immediately. This isn't a long list of chores; it’s one system—like a visual prompt or an environmental tweak—designed to give you an immediate win.
